The Bowden /Early Experience… "Take a rock and roll lead guitarist turned mainstream musical comedian and add a Texas Bluegrass icon and homespun humorist for over 32 years and whadda you got? The recipe for pure-dee entertainment." Richard Bowden got his childhood friend, Don Henley, into Music and off they went to California with the band Shiloh. ( with 3 time Grammy winner Al Perkins and Jim Ed Norman who later became president of Capital records who sang with some of the greatest stars of our era and produced scores of hits.) That band eventually became Linda Ronstadt’s band. Bowden went on to play for Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Dan Fogelberg, Stevie Nicks and sing with James Taylor among many. Don Henley went on to form the Eagles and Bowden occasionally tours with the Eagles and joins in on Hotel California. Bowden just hosted Henley's birthday party at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. He also played on Henley's latest album " Cass County”. Bowden created Pinkerton- Bowden one of the most successful comedy duos since "Homer and Jethro" appearing on most major national TV shows and the Grand Ole Opry. Equally matched now now with Texas Bluegrass legend Steve Early this duo delivers a evening of Rock, Blues, Country and Gospel and GUARANTEED a belly full of laughs and music history stories.
