The Chamber hosts numerous events throughout the year designed to help businesses connect with one another. From the Annual Excellence Awards banquet to weekly ribbon cuttings and networking lunches, we offer a wide variety of events for members of all sizes to connect with one another.

MAJOR EVENTS
Annual Excellence Awards
Each year, we celebrate EXCELLENCE in our community at our Annual Excellence Awards Banquet. One of our most well-attended events, the banquet includes dinner, cocktails, and networking while we end the evening by honoring our community’s most influential difference-makers.
Sporting Clay Shoot
The Summit Shoot is a sporting clay shoot that takes place in May. The event is held at the Ellis County Sportsman’s Club and includes the sporting clay shoot, breakfast, lunch, an awards ceremony, and concludes with raffle prizes.
Gingerbread Golf Tournament
Come enjoy a day of fun in the sun at our Annual Gingerbread Golf Tournament. Hosted in the fall each year, this event celebrates some of our best golfers, while also letting even our non-golfers in on the games, prizes and fun!

Coffee Connections

Start out your day by networking with other like-minded business professionals! Join other chamber members for a one-hour networking event with complimentary snacks and coffee. Chamber members may sign up as hosts to highlight their venue and provide food & drinks.
Lunch with Leaders

WHERE: Chamber of Commerce Board Room
This limited seating lunch event features prominent guest speakers who are leaders in business, education, and civic and government affairs. Chamber members receive a complimentary lunch and networking time with fellow members while learning about the opportunities and challenges facing Waxahachie business owners.
