Leadership Ellis County - Legislative Day 2025
Leadership Ellis County & the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Ennis Chamber of Commerce, Red Oak Area Chamber of Commerce, Best Southwest Partnership, and Leadership Southwest invite you to participate in Legislative efforts. Join us in representing the Waxahachie business community and all of Ellis County as we work together to build a thriving region for future generations.
97th Annual Excellence Awards
Each year, we celebrate EXCELLENCE in our community at our Annual Excellence Awards Banquet. One of our most well-attended events, the banquet includes dinner, cocktails, and networking while we end the evening by honoring our community’s most influential difference-makers.
Sporting Clay Shoot
The Summit Shoot is a sporting clay shoot that takes place in May. The event is held at the Ellis County Sportsman’s Club and includes the sporting clay shoot, breakfast, lunch, an awards ceremony, and concludes with raffle prizes.
Gingerbread Golf Tournament
Come enjoy a day of fun in the sun at our Annual Gingerbread Golf Tournament. This event celebrates some of our best golfers, while also letting even our non-golfers in on the games, prizes and fun!
